I Wanna Be a Rock Star!!!!

We ran into Sam's this morning after church to grab a few things to get ready for school tomorrow. On the way in there is a display of Rock Star!! Needless to say, Mark and Zachary had a blast! I had to tear them away from it so we could get out of there!

Mark kept saying "we gotta get that!" Rock on boys!!

Company Party at Pickwick Lake

We had a company get together July 12th at Dad's house at Pickwick Lake. Jason, Adam and Harry came with their families. The kids all had a friend to "pal" around with all day. After a big lunch we hit the water for some fishing, swimming, jet skiing and tubing. Everyone was exhausted at the end of the day. We had a blast!

I bought a Flip Video so I can add videos of the kids, especially Zachary's baseball games. You'll have to give me some time to figure out how to edit the video (mainly edit out my screaming!) but in time I will hopefully figure it out.

Zachary did INCREDIBLE this weekend! He was on fire when he got up to bat. Mark got a demo bat from a sports store for Zachary to try - it's a little longer and a little heavier. Needless to say, it did the trick! We ordered him his own bat today (cha-ching!) so he should be on fire from now on!

Happy Birthday Zachary!!

We celebrated Zachary's 10th birthday tonight with dinner at Red Robbin. Grandpa and Lucy joined us for a yummy dinner.
Zachary was quite embarrassed when the waiters clapped and sang their version of Happy Birthday to him. But when he got a hot fudge sundae he got over it!!
We finished up the night with Chocolate Cake from Costco. Zachary (& Carsyn's) FAVORITE!!!

Mud Surfin'

Who says I'm no fun?!?! I came home from running errands on Sunday to find my darlings playing in the rain. No biggie...they are having fun, let them play!

A short while later I thought they should come in and get cleaned up for dinner. Little did I know just how much "cleaning up" they would have to do!!

The kids decided to "mud surf". I'm not sure what that is exactly - but you can see the end result! They were so DIRTY!! Head to toe MUD!!! They were a bit horrified when I told them they had to strip down on the back porch before coming in to shower!!
